Is it good for 30 liters bags?
Answer: I think 30 litre bag would be too small for this bin. -

What if you want to keep the bin open for a bit, with both hands busy? Does the bin stay open with foot pressed down on bar?
Answer: Yes, there is a facility to keep the lid open. You can push the lid bin in an upright position and it will stay open until it is pushed back down again. -
Question:
Does it keep the cat out of the bin?
Answer: Depends on how nimble your cat is. The pedal requires quite a firm press, but the lid has a very nice slow close. With practice, the cat might still be able to manage it. -

Does this come with a bucket inside?
Answer: No, the bin liners sit tightly in the bin. Works really well - expensive but would definitely recommend. -
Question:
Does the lid lift all the way up to 90 degrees?
Answer: When using the foot pedal to open the bin, it goes to roughly 75 degrees. But if you lift the top section as if you were going to change the bag, then it opens to about 85 degrees. Either way, it's not really restricted access. -
Question:
Can you use standard bin liners instead of the custom fit ones?
Answer: Yes, I presume so, but I have only used custom. We buy the fit-for-purpose liners, there are 20 in a pack, and two packs in an order, so on the basis of using approximately 1 a week, it keeps the bin extremely clean and tidy. Highly recommend.
