AEG Board Games ALD07035 Editorial Review

War Chest is an excellent abstract war game that offers a chess-like challenge. It is easy to learn and suitable for 2 to 4 players. The poker chip style pieces and well-balanced rules provide a tactile and strategic experience. The game is great for adults and kids alike, offering new strategy with each draw. The quality of the pieces is excellent, although the board may not stay completely flat. The gameplay is good, especially with the drafting system for unit selection. The instructions are clear and well-done. The only downside is the shipping, which may cause some damage to the box.
