Clear River Games Editorial Review
High On Life PS5 is an eccentric first-person shooter that blends humor with action, crafted by the creator of Rick and Morty. Players navigate a bizarre universe filled with quirky, talking weapons while battling aliens that threaten humanity. The game is designed for ages 18 and over, showcasing a unique storyline where a teenager, equipped with a talking alien pistol, becomes an intergalactic bounty hunter. While the humor and creativity shine through, gameplay is noted for being somewhat average, which may affect enjoyment for players seeking robust shooting mechanics. The game premiered on 29 Sep 2024, available in English with French subtitles, though lacks German synchronization. Reviewers appreciate its humor and engaging story, but warn those not aligned with its comedic style might find it lacking.
