The dock is compatible with a SuperDrive, but it cannot power a Thunderbolt 1/2 RAID tower or a multi-SSD reader. The dock is powered by a 12V 5A power source and does not have a standby mode. The dock has an audio input and output, and gigabit ethernet capabilities that have not been tested in the product reviews.
